Mutual Aid Organizing
Can you donate groceries, new or gently used clothes, blankets, tents, sleeping bags, or hygiene kits? We also accept cash! All donations receive a tax receipt and go directly to supplies and the people we serve. Or would you like to join us in Playa Del Rey or Westchester on Sunday afternoon? If so, we could use your help!
As a community we can overcome this crisis if we: work together, learn to trust each other, share time and/or resources when we can. In fact, we at GRN have been doing mutual aid before the pandemic! But now we are expanding our ability to help, and are doing more as folks from our neighborhood and surroundings pitch in. We also are part of the MutualAidLA.org network. The commercial suite at 6804 Vista Del Mar, Playa Del Rey, CA 90293 is a generous donation by the Legado Co. Additional funding comes from small dollar donations from neighbors like you! We are all volunteers and don't have staff. Every dollar raised goes into supporting our neighbors in need.
